Robert Kain and Darren Spielman Recognized by Superlawyers® for 2011

Robert Kain is a Board Certified Intellectual Property (I.P.) attorney by the Florida Bar. He is involved in many Bar activities including his previous appointment by the President of the Florida Bar to the Bar’s I.P. Certification Committee. Kain was chair of that committee in 2009 – 2010. He is active in the Bar’s I.P. Committee and the Computer Law Committee.

He has limited his practice to I.P. law for the past 30 years, including over 20 years in South Florida. His B.E. Degree in Electrical Engineering and Law Degree from Vanderbilt University provided a foundation for his experience in U.S. and international I.P. matters and in the highly technical fields of computer and Internet law. He is a registered patent attorney with the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the Bars of Florida, New York, the District of Columbia, numerous U.S. District Courts and many U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Darren Spielman concentrates his practice in the field of intellectual property, with an emphasis on trademarks, trade secrets, domain name disputes, copyrights, libel and defamation. Darren has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from University of Florida, a Masters in Mass Communications degree from the University of Florida, and a law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Darren is admitted to practice in front of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Darren is also an active member of the community serving as President of the Board of Directors for the national non-for-profit “A Child is Missing.”
